Councillor Gord Fox was born and raised in Prince Edward County, where he presently lives in Picton. A graduate of Loyalist College’s Developmental Service Worker Certificate program, Gord spent twenty eight years as an employee of the Ministry of Community and Social Services, working with and providing services to the Prince Edward County community, as well as a one year secondment with the Ministry of Education as a Redeployment Officer at Sir James Whitney and Sagonaska Schools in Belleville, prior to retiring in 1998. Gord has also earneded a Rehabilitation Officer II certificate and Canadian Institute of Management certificate through continuing education at Loyalist College.
A councillor for Hallowell, Ward 6 from 2000-2003 and 2003-2006, Gord was re-elected in 2014. He was a member of the Board of Health during his first terms on Prince Edward County Council, and is looking forward to working with the Board of Health once again.
