Hastings Prince Edward Public Health employs more than 130 staff providing a range of health services through more than twenty different programs. We have dozens of student placements year-round and take on several summer and fall practicums each year. First-, second-, and third-year students can also gain experience as one of our summer students.
Our main office is located in a brand new building in Belleville, Ontario. Belleville is situated along the 401 corridor midway between Toronto and Ottawa. We also operate three branch offices to serve the communities of Bancroft, Picton, and Trenton.
Our service area stretches from the shores of the peaceful Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario north to the rugged beauty of Algonquin Park. The area has the convenience of two large urban centres with cottage country less than a half hour away. We combine Ontario’s best outdoor recreation with city conveniences and a low cost of living.
