Quick Test Clinics for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea
Quick Test Clinics offer self-testing for people without symptoms who want to check for chlamydia and gonorrhea only.
If you have been named a contact of a sexually transmitted infection, please call for an appointment to access testing and treatment at the same time.
If you are experiencing symptoms such as burning when you pee or discharge, the Quick Test Clinic may not be for you. There is no health care provider at the clinic who can diagnose you.
What you need to know:
- testing only takes a few minutes but wait time depends on the number of people who are there before you
- Do not urinate (go pee) 1 hour before you come to the Quick Test Clinic
- Throat and rectal swabs are available if you have had oral and/or anal sex.
- bring your health card (if you have one)
Individuals are encouraged to contact their own health care provider for STI testing, though this may not be an option for everyone. Individuals can drop-in during STI Quick Test Clinic hours, and provide a self-collected sample (pee in a cup and/or throat swab and/or rectal swab).
REMEMBER: No News is Good News – we only contact you if you have a positive test
