Public Health offers non-judgmental and confidential services in our sexual health program. Our sites are LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning) positive and sex trade workers are welcome.

  • Sexual health, safer sex practices, abstinence and birth control information
  • Low-cost birth control dispensing. Please bring in your birth control prescription
  • Low-cost Emergency Contraceptive Pill (Plan B)
  • Free urine pregnancy testing and pregnancy options counselling
  • Free testing for sexually transmitted infections including chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis and herpes (if a sore is present)
  • Free treatment for chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis
  • Free condoms
  • Free needle exchange and harm reduction supplies 

New prescriptions for birth control based on medical eligibility.

 * If you are 25 years of age or older, please visit your family medical provider for this service.

Intrauterine system (IUS) assessments and referrals.

IUS insertions (Belleville and Bancroft sites).

Full sexually transmitted and blood borne infection testing based on assessment.

This may include:

  • chlamydia and gonorrhea testing by urine or vaginal swabs, throat and/or rectal swabs
  • hepatitis, syphilis, and/or HIV blood work
  • rapid HIV testing (Belleville and Downtown Belleville sites)

PrEP referrals.

Sexually transmitted virus assessment (bumps assessment) such as genital warts and/or herpes.
